NEUW denim launch!

So last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending NEUW denim's launch party for their newest collection!
I've been so busy that it was a welcome distraction - and also an excuse to have a few drinks and get loose ;)

I arrived armed with some dodgy blog business cards that I quickly scrawled onto some cue cards about 5 minutes prior to arrival - I'd come straight from uni and realised people probably wouldn't want to get their photo taken by a random with a camera.

The launch was at Neuw Denim's concept store on the hip and happening Smith Street in Fitzroy, and mingling with the guests, I found an incredibly vast array of people - students, musicians, designers, photographers as well as architects, athletes and much much more!

Among the entertainment was a guy who crooned along to old classics in a dapper suit and hat, and also a projector which was playing an old James Dean film on the wall. Jeans and ropes and fake knives hung from the walls and ceiling, and the lighting was kinda romantic too. To top it off there were some highly attractive people serving Sailor Jerry's and other alcoholic beverages with admirable gusto! I have to admit I enjoyed perhaps one too many Sailor Jerry's but YOLO!

One too many ;)

Above I snapped a mad A/W 12 jacket by Rada Priya Designs! I bumped into Rada among the crown and immediately was drawn to her jacket. Rada designs from Melbourne and has some incredible pieces, I definitely want to keep tabs on her as a rising star in the Melbourne/Aussie fashion scene!

Also among the entertainment was Tek Tek Ensemble, an awesome folk-y band who played a killer
set which had party-goers stamping their feet and dancing along enthusiastically! :)

One of the guys I met Juan has a flickr and does live music photography - check him out at juanjocruz.

Anyway, that's enough of a post for now - the rest of the pics are up on ze tee+fame FB page if you wanna have a looksee :)

Hope you're having a good week everyone!

Oh and enter my blog giveaway - a $90 House of Harlow ring up for grabs! :)

Statement jeans.

I snapped these pics in my little tiny house - well the side part of the backyard.
Can't wait to show you pics of my house, we're finally making it look homely and decorating it how we want!

Kmart jeans - Quicksilver tank - Beginning Boutique neckplate - Tony Bianco shoes - Random ring

I bought these jeans for $19 from Kmart after I saw Dajana from Le Flassh in them in this post!
So amazing, seriously what a bargain ;)
On Thursday night at the NEUW denim party some girl thought I was wearing NEUW
Marilyn Wallpaper Jeans...
awks cos they're nowhere near as designer or badass hehe.

I'm really into plain silver jewellery as you can see from the ring + necklace, and I
thought the jeans just needed a plain backdrop with the white tank and all.

I've actually really grown to like my hair too - it requires minimal effort because
basically I wake up in the morning, wash my hair and ta-dah it looks like what it
does in these pics! So, so good.

Oh and don't forget to enter my giveaway - there's a
$90 House of Harlow ring up for grabs!
Really easy entry too :)

Let's take a shortcut.

Just some weekend hair-inspiration - I've been seeing this chopped blunt cut everywhere on the blogosphere recently!
Since my hair has grown out from it's chop to about this length, I've been wondering how to style it. Don't you find this length just so sexy and beautiful? But maybe it's just about the babes who rock it haha.

Thinking I'm gonna keep my hair this short and not grow it. Thoughts?

lazy lace and killer kimono.

Just a few dark and grainy selfies in my room - I'm wearing some of my staple pieces which I mix 'n' match all the time!

One Teaspoon Havenstock kimono, Forever New lace minidress, Sportsgirl four-finger ring, Dotti boots.

This kimono is a freakin' insane piece of floaty, engulfing digi-print burnt orange floral amazingness.
I absolutely adore it. The lace dress is reminiscent of my days working at Forever New -
while I wouldn't go back there, I had some g00d tiiim3z hehe.

When I saw this ring, it reminded me of the McQueen knuckledusters...
I had to have it!

+ I wear these boots everyday, scored them on sale at Dotti for $20!

In other news, TGIF :)

Fashion Week GIFs!

Loving these MBFWA gifs that Oyster mag posted. I won't bother re-posting pics from my favourite shows - I guess you would have seen them elsewhere (ie. on the blogs of the people who got to go to the shows, wahh).

I may post some street style that I liked though, Aussie guys and gals are so stylish!

Gifs by Shane Sakkeus and Ana Ifould

Oh, and a jewellery giveaway is coming up!! Follow me to keep updated, because the piece I'm giving away is gooooorgeous and definitely a designer must-have ;)

I'll give you a ring ;)

I'll give you a ring ;)

E L L E R Y long dress
$750 -

Biker jacket
$140 -

170 AUD -

MAC Lipstick Lustre See Sheer
$21 -

Simply adore the Samantha Wills ring above - it's such a
statement piece, but versatile enough to wear in most situations,
from a work meeting (maybe?) to out on a dinner date!
The reason for this little polyvore collage is a competition
that Westfield is running at the moment to win $1000 worth of
Samantha Wills jewellery! Excitement! I seriously wish I could
afford the Ellery dress in this little collage...

Ugh can't believe I'm at home Friday night...think I might go out
later just so I can get dressed up and party! I'm seriously turning
into a housewife since moving to this little cottage in South
Yarra. These days I see no reason to venture further than my
well-stocked up kitchen and my cosy bedroom complete with queen
size bed (plz don't judge me) :)

What are everyone's plans for the weekend?
