Lisa Gorman has just recently launched her Autumn 2015 campaign, which was shot in Hayama, Japan. Considering I just got back from Japan, it only makes me miss the country even more! This collection has an other-worldly feel about it, suggesting the change in season to the cooler weather, longer nights and shorter days. It’s about the happenings out there in the quiet, stillness of nature and the beauty of balance between earth, animal and sky. The new collection features Gorman's typical gorgeous details such as the green fern print, a cute yet brilliant moth embroidery motif, metallic flashes and an abstract jigsaw pattern of chopped up shapes filtered across kimonos, flowy skirts, shift dresses and soft cotton tees. Over the last few days, one of the things popping up the most on social media has been the EAGERLY anticipated Alexander Wang x H&M designer collab. The lookbook shots have been released, and it's pretty much as amazing as I expected it to be. It is seriously the sportluxe fantasy we were hoping for, and convincingly embodies Wang’s native aesthetic of minimalism, and of course uniform black/white monochrome. With strappy scuba dresses, thick WANG emblazoned sweatshirts, mesh-paneled leggings, cropped bra-tops, leather joggers, and puffer jackets - there are even boxing gloves and a yoga mat! Above are some of my fave lookbook snaps from the Alexander Wang for H&M collection. I am DEFS gonna try and get a hold of a couple of the crop tops and that grey sweater. Maybe even a little something for Justin even though he really couldn't care less about fashion haha. I am goddamn obssessed with this collection. Like what even. It's a beautiful fusion of 70's chic in burnt orange, deep red and olive green, inky navy and top-to-toe leather/denims. There is such a classic European style and confidence that just exudes from these outfits. I wish I could just whirl around Milan or something in all of this stuff. Gucci is known for their vintage-y aesthetic, but you know what? They pull it off. They make cropped pants and jeans, neck-tie scarves, laced up shirts and woven brown belts look cool and new and awesome. It's super sophisticated, and super sexy. I mean seriously. Oh my god. Look at this print. Oh my god. Look at this print. I don't want none, unless you got lobsters, seagulls & chips hun ;) Haha lame lyric substitution aside, HOW AMAZING IS THIS COLLECTION! I am soo so keen for Summer and beach hangs and all these awesome pieces. This collection is so super cutesy seaside themed with pretty blues and lobster, fishing net, and seagull prints put onto everything from bucket hats to bikinis. I also love the nautical stripes and polka-dots and I love the cool tropical palm tree embroidered top! You will definitely have fun in the sun with Gorman's new collection. I mean honestly, I would DIE to own that seagull/chip bikini combo. AHH. So, Karl Lagerfeld's kitty Choupette is set to star in her very own line of accessories! The cartoon version of the fluffy feline, called Monster Choupette, is cute but a little angry looking... Apparently, according to WWD , these accessories are going to hit Karl Lagerfeld stores in November this year! The range will include totes, shoes, scarves and shirts. Gorman has always loved a good print. And so do I. That's why it seems I tend to post about every second Gorman collection that ever gets released, and why I adore Gorman's quirky & fun pieces. Animal print, checks, stripes, veggies and more feature in their ever colourful clothing. This Winter - refer to last post if you wanna know why winter is officially here - Gorman excites yet again with 'Never smile at a crocodile'. Featuring (you guessed it smarty pants) a cute as heck cartoon crocodile print & cactuses! Wait, I think the right word I'm looking for is cacti hah.
