Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Dotti tee, Sportsgirl vest + tights + sunnies + fur,
Supre skirt, Dangerfield (gifted) clutch, Stella McCartney
for Target bangle, MAC lipstick, Mum's (I stole them) boots
Today is ANZAC day, a public holiday in Australia and New Zealand.
We recognise today, 25th of April, as an occasion of national remembrance.
World War I broke out in 1914, and the ANZACs (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps)
set out to capture Gallipoli as part of the allied forces. The ANZACs landed
on Gallipoli on 25 April, meeting fierce resistance from the Turkish defenders.
Over 8,000 Australian soldiers were killed over 8 months. News of Gallipoli made
a profound impact on Australians at home, and 25 April soon became the day on which
we remembered the sacrifice of those who had died in the war.
Anyway, on to the outfit. The grey tee was 2 for $20 from Dotti,
I grabbed a white one too. You can wear it with anything, you can
dress it up or down easily. I love everything else I'm wearing -
the pattern tights, the embellished vest, the round sunnies. This
fur thing that goes on my bags is cool too, heaps of my friends get
freaked out by it though! It's fake fur, I promise :)
The fur, tights and boots are my transitional Autumn pieces, preparing me for coats,
thicker tights and maybe a fur coat this Winter!! I really want one (faux fur) but I
don't wanna be judged. What to do? What do you guys think?
