LOVE & LEMONS

Image
It's what underneath that counts...right? So, I guess when you think about fashion and outfits, and dressing yourself, you don't really think about the things that go under your clothes. I mean sure, you can't SEE it most of the time, but as any woman knows, the type of underwear you have on can make a massive difference to how you feel. There's certainly something special about slipping into a new lacy lingerie set, even if it's hidden under work uniform or 5 billion Winter layers. Anyway, the rare occasion that I get a new set AND I match my bra to my underwear, I basically feel like I have my shit together. Good feeling, haha. Lately I've been obsessed with the label For Love & Lemons , and their delicate lingerie. I love the attention to details; the mesh and the lace and the embroidery is just beautiful. I haven't yet had the guts to splurge out and get myself a set - two reasons: trying to save money is hard, and also I'm quite aware tha...

ZIMM

Image
As the weather heats up, I'm starting to feel the urge to run away/buy a one-way-ticket to somewhere exotic and tropical, like Hawaii or Bali, and never come back. Like most other fashion/clothes obsessed people, I do love Winter fashion and dressing up in layers, but I have t say I'm more of a bare-limbed, sun-kissed skin kind of person. These Zimmermann images from Summer '14 & Resort '14 Swim don't really help my case. Beautiful bathers on beautiful models...sigh sigh sigh it's only a Monday and I'm already day-dreaming! x x Stace Come visit me on Facebook // Instagram // Tumblr image source: zimmermannwear.com

ABBEY LEE

Image
Abbey Lee Kershaw By Gilles Bensimon For Vogue Australia April 2014 Abbey Lee Kershaw became one of my favourite models a few years back, I loved her long lithe limbs and her big blue eyes. This article in Vogue is an amazing one, with Abbey Lee's boho gypsy child side showing through in the pics. I was really sad to read that Abbey Lee is not going to focus on modelling anymore - she hints this shoot for Vogue may be one of her last - BUT I'm also super ecstatic that she is going to more acting! YAY. Anyway, this editorial makes me wanna be a beach bum and live in white dresses and tribal jewellery. 4eva. model: abbey lee kershaw (next) photographer: gilles bensimon stylist: christine centenera hair: alan white (namesagency) make-up: kellie stratton (artist-group) x x Stace images & article can be found at visualoptimism.blogspot.com

PETALS

Image
These two photos channel the words of poet Robert Frost: '...Petals I may have once pursued. Leaves are all my darker mood.' I find them fascinatingly and fleetingly beautiful. rag & bone: fall '12

Image
The amazing Kate Moss hits the streets for Rag & Bone's Fall 2012 Campaign. These photos were shot by Craig McDean in North London, and Ms. Moss oozes, as always, casual elegance and effortless cool in these snaps! Wouldn't mind wearing both those outfit myself, not that I'd look as good... I'm a big fan :) x x Stace PS. I'm kinda all pooped out from the first week back at uni, hence the lack of posts. A few of my lovely friends went to the Kings of Carnaby launch last night so they will be posting soon. Argh I wish I'd gone!!! :( PPS. Been playing around with business card designs, feedback?? Hunt No More

Image
How freakin' gorgeous are these photos from Hunt No More 's debut collection? I NEED THOSE BURGUNDY PANTS! HOLY MOLY. They're an Aussie label, with an effortlessly cool vibe: that of a girl who loves fashion, but isn't a follower. It's a little bit rock chick but at the same time refined and classy. This label is stocked at David Jones and online shops Market HQ & Princess Polly so go check them out :) Would you wear these pieces? Which one is your favourite?? x x Stace Pictures from huntnomore.com.au and agenticonfashion.com
